A year ago, the team failed to take the start of the world’s largest GT3 event with a brake caliper issue and began their race seven laps down.
This year, the team returned with a vengeance to take on the Pro-Am Cup.

The Johor Motorsports Racing JMR quartet of Love, Ben Green, Prince Jefri Ibrahim and Prince Abu Baker Ibrahim stayed out of trouble en route to 29th overall and first in class.
The team took the class lead with eight hours to go and controlled proceedings from there.
All told, Love and company finished three laps ahead of the runner-up #86 High Class Racing Porsche 911 GT3 R driven by Anders Fjordbach, Kerong Li, Ye Hongli and Yuan Bo.

“This is extremely special,” said Love.
“I can’t begin to thank these legends (Prince Jefri Ibrahim and Prince Abu Bakar Ibrahim) standing next to us, and all the boys and girls at JMR who stand behind us.
“We wouldn’t be here today without this whole team. How far the team has come as a collective in the last couple of years is really impressive.
“To be at Le Mans two weeks ago competing and now to back it up here and end up with a win at Spa is extremely special. I can’t thank them enough to be part of it.
“What a race! It certainly was a tough one. To come out with a win is a tremendous and satisfying feeling.
“I couldn’t be happier for the team and to be part of it for a few years now. To come out on top really means a lot.
“This is the biggest GT3 race of the year and is a 24-hour sprint.
“This year in the heat was extremely difficult. To finish on the podium made all those hard hours in the dark of the night well and truly worth it.”

Jefri Ibrahim and Abu Bakar Ibrahim will be familiar names for Australian motorsport fans.
The pair raced a Triple Eight-run Mercedes-AMG GT3 in GT World Challenge Australia powered by AWS before going out on their own.
“I’m so happy for everyone. We had a few hurdles at the start but everyone pushed hard until the end. We never gave up,” said Jefri Ibrahim.
“It’s our third Spa 24 and we’ve finally won it! I’m incredibly proud of everyone involved – the whole team and my teammates. We worked so hard for this one… I’m so happy.
“What makes this special is that this is the biggest GT3 race in the world. Being here for the second time with Corvette and winning with Corvette is a dream for us.
“The team did an incredible job. The feelings are just over the moon. Partnering with GM has been really great for the team.
“We had a few wins in Asia, a good result in Bathurst and we were just in Le Mans and representing the brand there. That support has been great.”
